Quick Vegan Apple Strudel

The quickest Apple Strudel in History!
Every time I get this feeling I need something sweet this vegan apple strudel is all I need. It is so quick and sooo delicious! This vegan apple strudel recipe uses puff pastry, which you can buy at most grocery stores. Most puff pastry brands are naturally dairy-free and vegan-friendly. It bakes up flaky and light with a deliciously gooey texture near the filling. Enjoy it with your favorite vegan ice-cream or vanilla sauce.

Vegan Apple Strudel
Ingredients
- 275 g puff pastry
- 700 g apples
- 150 g raisin
- 20 g vegan butter
- 2-3 TBSP brown sugar
- 1 TBSP cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp cacao powder
Instructions
- To begin, peel and cut the fresh apples into cubes.
- In a bowl combine the apples, raisins, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and cacao powder until apples are well coated.
- Wrap it in puff pastry and bake it for about 20min. Let it cool for couple of minutes and top with additional cinnamon powder, voila!
Notes
Enjoy this pastry as a brunch treat or dessert. The filling isn't as sweet as some recipes, but you can adjust the sweetener up or down to taste.
